You're curious and I have answers! Here are some of the most frequent questions I get asked and my honest answers. Have a question? Feel free to email me at

1. Where's the best place you've traveled to?

This is one of the most difficult questions to answer because I don’t have just one place that I favor the most. There are so many amazing and beautiful places that I’ve been, all with such different experiences, that it depends. For instance, the best place I’ve traveled to in terms of scenic experience is definitely Yangshuo, China (near Guilin) and the best place I’ve been in terms of things to do is Istanbul, Turkey. Nonetheless, here are my top favorite places in the world that I’ve been to so far, in alphabetical order: Annecy, France; Bogota, Colombia; Bucaramanga, Colombia; NYC, USA; Cozumel, Mexico; Oahu, USA; Lyon, France; Montreux, Switzerland, San Francisco; USA, Santorini, Greece; Shanghai, China; Yangshuo, China.

2. What camera do you use?

Almost 90% of the pictures you see on my website and social media pages are from my Apple products--iPhone4, iPhone5, iPhone5s, iphone6+ and iPad2. I also have occasional Samsung Galaxy 5 photos and some GoPro 3 in there. I just recently bought a Samsung NX300 so you’ll be seeing more pics with super high-end quality on the website soon!

3. Do you ever get scared traveling alone as a young female?

Yes and no, depending on where I go. Most of the time, I’m never scared until I get to a new place and I have no pre-made plans. For instance, Kiev was one of the scariest places I’ve visited because I went during the Revolution and I had no hotel or prior plans on what I was going to do there. It also didn’t help that no one spoke English there. However, besides the few hiccups here and there, I’m more excited than scared to travel alone.

4. How can you afford to travel so much?

I’m a full-time freelancer. It’s actually cheaper for me to travel than to live full-time in Los Angeles. I work anywhere from 25-50 hours a week, depending on new contracts that I receive each month. I create websites, mobile apps, marketing content and business plans with my small globally contracted team that I have created. I’m basically running my own mini agency, but without the expensive brick-and-mortar shop--I just need my laptop and I can work anywhere in the world that has Internet.

5. Do you ever travel with other people?

I do travel with others sometimes, but my preference of traveling is meeting new people at the new destination, rather than traveling to somewhere with friends. The reason being is that I like to indulge myself in the local culture as much as possible, which I almost never get to if I’m with other people. I’ve traveled quite a lot with boyfriend and some of my friends from grad school, but 90% of the time, I travel alone.

6. Where are all the countries that you’ve been?

In alphabetical order: Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Czech-Republic, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Greece, Macao, Mexico, USA, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, France, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, Vatican City

7. Where do you want to go next?

I want to go to every single country in the world before I die--that’s my ultimate life goal. In the next few years though, there are some really incredible looking places that I want to visit. I really want to travel all across Turkey, Iceland, New Zealand, China, Zimbabwe and Antarctica.
